Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is hiring an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer in North Carolina. You will perform routine branch duties and deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person, with opportunities to learn lending and collections at this level.

You will work under supervision to balance cash, process basic accounts, and support customers across channels while building knowledge of SECU products and services.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; preferred Bachelor’s degree or related certificates.
• Demonstrates SECU Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect and trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by phone and in person.
• Handle cash drawer with basic accuracy and security.
• Originate and maintain accounts; learn consumer lending products.
• Assist with Notary Public services as requested by management.
• Process wire transfers and foreign currency orders.
• Greet members and provide courteous, timely service across channels.
• Organize, file and scan documents daily.
• Learn CXone and support MSS as needed.
• Support training in lending, collections and financial services referrals.
