Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an Associate Member Services Officer to provide foundational knowledge of branch operations, perform routine duties, and deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person.

This entry-level role includes training in cash handling, account origination, and basic lending concepts, with progression through CLP after completing modules and exams.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree or CCUE certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person and via phone.
• Respond to member inquiries and process routine transactions.
• Manage cash drawer and perform basic account operations.
• Assist with wire transfers and foreign currency handling.
• Complete training modules and advance toward lending paths.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow credit union policies.
