Job summary

Capital Credit Union is seeking a member services professional to assist with transactional needs and consumer lending. You will promote products, process deposits and withdrawals, and support account maintenance while building relationships with members.

The role requires strong customer service, cross-selling skills, and adherence to banking regulations. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions and memos.
• Pass a federal background check and be listed on the Federal Mortgage Loan Officer registry as required by law.
• Operate computer terminals and basic office tools with accuracy.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures for transaction processing.
• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with transactional needs in person and by phone.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and related duties.
• Assist with stop payments, account research, ACH, wires, and maintenance tasks.
• Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Refer members to Mortgage Lenders, Financial Solutions Representatives, and Commercial Lending as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations including BSA/OFAC.
