Job summary

Ohana Growth Partners, operator of Planet Fitness clubs, seeks a Service Desk Associate to provide outstanding member service, manage front desk duties, and maintain a clean, welcoming facility in a Judgment Free Zone.

You will greet guests, answer questions, process memberships, operate the POS, schedule training, and perform routine cleaning to keep the club running smoothly. Preference given to candidates with customer service or sales experience and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests on arrival and say goodbye upon departure.
• Monitor club access for members and guests.
• Answer questions and handle member/guest complaints.
• Answer phone calls and provide information to prospects.
• Give tours to prospective members.
• Sell memberships, write agreements, and enter new members into database.
• Operate POS system and collect balances on past due accounts.
• Organize and maintain customer service front desk.
• Schedule appointments for fitness training sessions.
• Complete the Club Walk-Around every 20 minutes and complete checklists.
• Answer questions and guiding new employees.
• Perform beginning/end of shift procedures and club housekeeping.
