Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative at our New Philadelphia location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling membership inquiries, tours and sign-ups, and processing payments.

You will greet members and guests, maintain a clean club, answer calls, and ensure a positive, friendly, and safe environment for all visitors. The MSR role requires on-site presence, a professional attitude, and the ability to learn club policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• On-site work only, not remote
• Upbeat, professional and positive attitude with strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual and dependable
• Professional, respectful, solutions‑oriented interactions with members and employees
• Commitment to cleanliness and creating a positive member experience
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions
• CPR/AED certification within required timeframes
• Tanning certification within company required timeframes
• MSRs must submit to a National Sex Offender Registry search
• This role requires on-site work

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Provide information about memberships and amenities; assist tours and sign-ups
• Promote membership specials and upgrades; meet service goals
• Check members into the POS system; answer phones professionally
• Process new memberships, cancellations and payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the club; ensure safe environment
