Job summary

Planet Fitness in Ohio is seeking a Member Services Representative (MSR) to be the first point of contact for members and guests. You will greet, assist with memberships, handle inquiries, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment in line with our Judgement Free Zone policy.

You will process sign-ups and payments, promote membership options (e.g., Black Card), operate the POS, and support front desk operations while upholding Planet Fitness standards and club culture.

• Assist with memberships, billing questions, and account inquiries.
• Operate POS system for check-ins, sign-ups, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests in a friendly, and professional manner.
• Create a positive club experience by providing outstanding customer service.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Assist members with account inquiries, changes, and billing questions.
• Provide information about memberships and amenities.
• Promote and explain current membership specials and upgrades.
• Meet or exceed membership and customer service goals.
• Check members into the system using club’s POS system.
• Answer phones professionally and efficiently.
• Process new memberships, cancellations and payments accurately.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Respond promptly and professionally to members’ questions and concerns and inform Assistant Manager or General Manager if any issues arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the club by performing assigned cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including restrooms, locker rooms, and workout areas.
• Ensure weights are returned to appropriate rack area.
• Regularly walk the floor to ensure the club remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Refill cleaning stations and supplies as needed.
