Job summary

YMCA of East Tennessee seeks a friendly front desk associate to deliver excellent service to members, guests, and program participants. You will promote memberships and programs while keeping the lobby organized and welcoming.

Proficiency with Y software like DAXKO and scheduling tools, plus strong communication and problem-solving abilities, are essential. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and upholding the Y’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants, contributing to member retention.
• Conduct interviews and tours for prospective members and promote memberships.
• Build relationships with members and help them connect with the YMCA.
• Handle membership concerns and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Proficient in DAXKO operations including membership and program registrations.
• Proficient in Daxko Engage, logging conversations and completing tasks per shift.
• Proficient in SmartStart scheduling.
• Follow all Y policies and safety procedures; complete incident reports as necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.
