Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & the Mid‑South is seeking a part‑time Membership Associate to deliver exceptional service to members, guests and program participants. You will promote memberships and programs, help new members tour the facility, and keep the lobby clean and welcoming.

Your role focuses on member retention through friendly communication, accurate time reporting, and living the Y's values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications due within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone.
• Interviews and tours prospective members; sells memberships.
• Builds relationships with members and helps connect them to the YMCA.
• Handles membership concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
• Follows all YMCA policies for member services.
