Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests.
• Provide for a customer-friendly, orderly Membership operation including check-in, receipting, access control, tours, telephone, and reception functions.
• Become an expert in YMCA programs to give accurate information on programs, fees, and fee structure.
• Serve as a YMCA membership sales representative, encouraging membership purchase and use.
• Maintain a positive and organized work environment and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist in clerical tasks such as mailings and phone calls as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures to help the YMCA serve the community.
• Articulate the YMCA’s mission, values, and benefits.
• Ask members to contribute to the annual campaign.
• Ensure accurate cash handling.
• Attend staff meetings and be approachable to members.
