Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) in North Carolina is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative, an entry-level role designed to build foundational knowledge of SECU branch operations. You will support member inquiries in person, by phone, and online, handling routine transactions and assisting with cash box management and basic account activity.

You will undergo Excel and Elevate new employee training, complete core modules, and develop skills in checking and savings accounts,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust with members.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist members by telephone and in person with inquiries.
• Handle basic branch duties including cash handling and cash box management.
• Process account origination and maintenance.
• Balance cash drawer and drive-through operations as needed.
• Follow SECU policies and security procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Attend training and participate in ongoing learning modules.
