Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative in Waynesville, NC. You will learn branch operations, assist members by phone and in person, and support cash handling, deposits, and account maintenance with supervision.

You’ll gain exposure to CXone, basic advisory services, and cross-department collaboration while upholding SECU’s values and providing exemplary member service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• SECU Core Values demonstrated.
• Aptitude for meeting people and earning member confidence and trust.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person.
• Process transactions and balance a cash drawer per standards.
• Assist members with service requests and check deposits.
• Operate drive-through window as needed.
• Balance the vault, ATMs, and coin sorter.
• Assist with wire transfers and currency orders.
• Troubleshoot account or online access issues.
• Maintain daily/monthly reports and records.
