Job summary

State Employees’ Credit Union is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative in Charlotte, NC to learn branch operations, assist members in person or by phone, and perform routine duties such as cash handling and account maintenance.

The role includes completing E&E training and 10 core modules, processing transactions, balancing drawers, handling wires and currency, and upholding confidentiality and SECU policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, CCUE Certification, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrates SECU’s Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member confidence, respect and trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
• Perform routine branch duties including cash handling and transaction processing.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with cash handling duties and account maintenance.
• Greet and assist members professionally across all channels (in-person, phone, digital).
• Follow security, confidentiality and policy guidelines; support other departments as needed.
