Job summary

SECU in Durham, NC seeks an entry-level Associate MSO to learn branch operations and deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person, handling cash, account origination and maintenance with supervision.

You’ll participate in training, complete core modules, learn CXone, and gain exposure to lending, collections, and consumer products while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. Regular attendance and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates SECU core values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and earning member confidence and trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend New Employee Training (E&E).
• Complete 10 Core Modules after E&E and training sessions.
• Follow SECU policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and secure handling of accounts.
• Balance cash drawer in accordance with standards.
• Greet and assist members promptly across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Answer phones and assist with service requests.
• Learn Notary Public services as requested by management.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate member requests.
