Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer (MSO) in North Carolina. The role builds foundational knowledge of branch operations, emphasizes exemplary member service by phone and in person, and introduces lending and collections training at this level.

Responsibilities include greeting members, handling inquiries, cash drawer operations, and coordinating with other departments. Training follows E&E and a suite of core modules to prepare for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates SECU’s Core Values.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend New Employee Training (E&E) and complete core modules.
• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner across all service channels.
• Handle cash drawer operations and basic account origination tasks.
• Learn CXone and assist MSS as requested.
• Provide Notary Public services as requested by management.
• Assist with wire transfers, foreign currency, and deposits/loans as directed.
