Job summary

SECU in North Carolina is seeking an entry-level Associate MSO to support daily branch operations, deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person, and begin training in lending and collections under supervision.

You will learn cash handling, account maintenance, wire transfers, notary services, and consumer lending basics while adhering to SECU policies and regulatory requirements; regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.
• Complete listed additional modules (Member-Facing Websites, Branch Security, Share Term Certificates, Account Titling & Designations, Buy/Sell, Funds Transfer, Member Identification, Stop Payments & Stop Cautions, Wires, Cash Handling, Check Acceptance, Holds, MARGO Platform, MARGO Teller, New Accounts, Account and Profile Maintenance, Advances, Safe Deposit Boxes).

Responsibilities

• Attend New Employee Training and complete 10 Core Modules after E&E.
• Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure member information confidentiality and proper access to accounts.
• Follow security and control procedures for all branch staff.
• Learn cash drawer basics and performance criteria standards.
• Greet and assist members via in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Answer phones and assist members with service requests.
• Obtain Notary Public services as requested by management.
• Interact with other departments to facilitate member requests.
• Process foreign and domestic wire transfers and currency exchange.
• Troubleshoot account/Card issues and processing disputes.
• Learn consumer lending basics and prepare for CLP progression.
