Job summary

7 17 Credit Union in Akron, OH is seeking a dedicated Member Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members, delivering friendly, accurate service and guiding them to the right products and services.

You will process transactions, assist with deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries, maintain cash drawer accuracy, and support branch goals while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using computers in a Windows-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Educate members about credit union products and services to help meet their financial goals.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and daily balancing standards.
• Open, update, and close accounts following proper identification and compliance procedures.
• Support branch sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Handle card services, ACH transactions, and member fraud claims as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service while maintaining confidentiality.
