Job summary

7 17 Credit Union in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries, delivering accurate, courteous service.

You will educate members on credit union products, maintain cash drawer accuracy, open/close accounts, and support branch goals while protecting member confidentiality. Prior cash-handling or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Bondable status required.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Educate members about credit union products and services to help meet their financial goals.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and daily balancing standards.
• Open, update, and close accounts following proper identification and compliance procedures.
• Support branch sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Handle card services, ACH transactions, and member fraud claims as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service while maintaining confidentiality.
