7 17 Credit Union is seeking a friendly and professional Member Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members. You will handle a range of transactions, assist with deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries, and guide members to the best financial solutions that meet their goals.

You will maintain accurate cash handling, support branch sales, and educate members on credit union products while upholding confidentiality and community-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; prior cash-handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Educate members about credit union products and services to help meet financial goals.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and daily balancing standards.
• Open, update, and close accounts following proper identification and compliance procedures.
• Support branch sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Handle card services, ACH transactions, and member fraud claims as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service while maintaining confidentiality.
