Job summary

7 17 Credit Union is seeking a friendly and meticulous Member Service Representative to serve members at our local branch. You will process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and inquiries, while educating members about our financial products and services.

In this role, you will maintain cash drawer accuracy, open/close accounts per procedures, and support sales goals for deposits and loans. Excellent communication and reliability are essential, as is the ability to work in a Windows environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and working in a Windows-based environment.
• Must be bondable.
• Occasional travel to nearby branches may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Educate members about credit union products and services to help meet their financial goals.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and daily balancing standards.
• Open, update, and close accounts following proper identification and compliance procedures.
• Support branch sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Handle card services, ACH transactions, and member fraud claims as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service while maintaining confidentiality.
