Job summary

The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA seeks a Welcome Center Advisor I to greet members, manage sign-in procedures, handle calls, and process registrations. You’ll lead tours for prospective members and collaborate with the team to drive member engagement and retention in a fast-paced, member-centric setting.

Working in a team-oriented environment, you will support onboarding, answer program questions, and uphold safety and service standards while contributing to overall YMCA goals.

Qualifications

• Welcomes members and guests with a friendly demeanor and follows sign-in procedures.
• Manages incoming calls and provides information about center programs and services.
• Processes program registrations and assists with tours for prospective members.
• Collaborates with team to enhance member experience and support retention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and ensure proper check-ins.
• Handle phone inquiries across multiple lines and provide timely responses.
• Assist in membership sales, tours, and trials as needed to meet goals.
• Support training and operations to maintain a safe, clean facility.
