Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Medford, MA is hiring for a Member Experience Supervisor who leads Front End Leads, Cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors to deliver outstanding member service and club performance.

The role focuses on developing talent, coaching teams, and ensuring compliant operations, training, and execution of policies. Strong leadership, customer service, and flexibility are required for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results
• 2 years customer service or sales experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or leadership experience is preferred
• Open shift availability required
• At least 18 years of age
• Must maintain all training and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead Frontline, Membership Services Desk, Membership Sales Ambassador and functions to drive member experience and business results
• Develop and manage high-performing teams; recruit, train, coach, and evaluate performance
• Ensure staffing and processes support excellent member service and execution
• Maintain knowledge of club policies and procedures across teams
• Drive corporate programs and ensure policy compliance
• Utilize reporting tools to improve performance and development
• Communicate clearly across teams about membership initiatives and club happenings
• Drive membership growth and retention initiatives to achieve KPIs
• Maintain productivity and service excellence standards
• Oversee Front Door recoveries and retraining when needed
• Maintain adherence to club policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as needed
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance
