Job summary

AAA is seeking a Member Specialist to support Field Sales and Branch Operations. You will provide service to members, assist in selling memberships and insurance, and handle billing and policy updates. Licensure requirements include a Property and Casualty license and Notary within 1 year.

The role emphasizes high-quality service, cross-selling opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with staff and management. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School GED Required
• 1-3 years Sales or customer service Preferred
• Proficiency in data entry
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Customer service skills
• Notary Public - National Notary Association within 1 Year Required
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state - Issued by State

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds.
• Provide service to walk-in and telephone members seeking insurance services. Sell memberships and assist in the sale of insurance to prospective insureds.
• Assist members with changes to existing policies or memberships, renewals, and provide information regarding billing.
• Conduct field inspections as necessary.
• Accept payments on membership and insurance.
• Verify insurance coverage for lien holders and leasing companies.
• Provide binders as requested.
• Perform typing and other administrative duties, including letters, forms, cards, rush escrows and evidence of insurance.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Communicate positively and effectively with all staff.
• Maintain an open and positive relationship with management.
• Provide service support for both management, sales and life agents.
• Engage in cross selling opportunities.
• Resolve member and insured related problems using discretion and independent judgment.
