Job summary

AAA - Automobile Club of Southern California seeks a Member Specialist to support growth, service goals, and profitability for Field Sales and Branch Operations. You will assist agents and members, provide insurance and membership information, and help upsell services. A valid Property and Casualty license for the states served is required.

You will handle member inquiries, process changes and renewals, and support billing. Travel to off-site meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1–3 years sales or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency in data entry.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Notary Public - National Notary Association within 1 year required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance license, valid in selling state.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds.
• Serve walk-in and telephone members seeking insurance services and memberships.
• Assist with changes to policies or memberships, renewals, and billing information.
• Conduct field inspections as necessary and handle payments.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Communicate positively with staff and management.
• Engage in cross-selling opportunities and resolve issues using discretion.
