Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience through superior customer service at the front desk. You will greet members and guests, assist with sign-ups, tours, and account updates while maintaining a clean club environment.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, problem solving, and a helpful attitude, with opportunities to grow through training and development and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk during shift.
• Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities including answering phones, helping callers with questions, and member sign-in.
• New member sign-up and tours for prospective members.
• Facilitate needed updates to member accounts and respond to questions promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Escalate issues to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
