Job summary

Planet Fitness in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring for a customer service associate who will drive new member sales and create a welcoming, helpful experience for members, prospective members and guests. You will greet members at the front desk, answer calls, give tours, assist with sign-ups and account updates, handle check-ins and cancellations, and escalate issues to a Club Manager as needed.

This role emphasizes a friendly, professional demeanor, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, inviting club

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Standing/walking at least 75% of the shift; able to lift up to 50 lbs. few times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet/meet potential members, providing a great customer experience.
• Answer phone calls and assist with questions or concerns; take info calls and tours.
• Assist in member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and updating member accounts.
• Facilitate member services issues and questions and forward to Club Manager/Manager in Training/Team Lead as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
