Job summary

Planet Fitness in Iowa City is seeking a customer-service oriented team member to support front-desk operations and member services. You will assist with training new staff, engage with members, give gym tours, and help maintain a welcoming club environment.

The role involves answering calls, processing sign-ups and cancellations, and supporting marketing and inventory tasks, with opportunities for advancement and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Assist in member service oversight ensuring great customer experience.
• Front desk tasks: answer calls, take information calls, assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, update accounts.
• Give gym tours and meet potential members.
• Facilitate member service issues and questions.
• Support club manager and team with coverage as needed.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Help maintain a positive image for the club.
• Assist with cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Assist marketing efforts and train staff on promotions.
• Assist with ordering supplies, inventory, and tracking reports.
