Yampa Valley Electric Association is seeking a Member Experience Specialist in Steamboat Springs, CO. You will serve as the face of the cooperative, handling member calls, emails, and walk-ins while guiding billing inquiries and payments with accuracy.

As you grow, you’ll take on back-office tasks like meter reading posts, billing cycle management, and cross-functional projects with Engineering and Operations. Strong data entry and cash handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Respond to member calls, emails, and walk-ins with courtesy and accuracy.
• Assist with inquiries about billing, payments, rates, and electric usage.
• Enter service orders and maintain data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities

• Front office duties including cashiering and member interactions.
• Back-office duties such as posting meter readings and managing billing cycles.
• Collaborate with Engineering, dispatch, operations, and meter techs on projects.
