Job summary

Itasca-Mantrap Electric Cooperative seeks a friendly Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional service by phone, email, and in person. You will assist with account activities, answer questions about programs, rates, and policies, and support energy assistance initiatives.

This on-site role requires strong communication and teamwork to ensure accurate information and timely problem resolution. Responsibilities include supporting billing, transfers, service orders, and cross-department

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer or member relations, communications, or office support.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to handle difficult circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by phone, email, and in person; respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Explain and promote cooperative programs, services, rates, and policies; coordinate with staff to ensure effective resolution.
• Process and support member account activities, including service orders, transfers, and new service requests.
• Support billing and collections activities and provide information on energy assistance and Cold Weather Rule requirements.
• Assist with capital credits and load management programs and related paperwork.
