Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Front Desk/Member Services role in Lafayette, CO. You will deliver excellent service to members, guests, and program participants, promoting membership and programs while maintaining a clean, organized desk area.

You’ll assist with tours, respond to needs, and serve as a liaison across the facility, following all YMCA policies. The position emphasizes interpersonal skills, problem solving, and the ability to relate to diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, sales or related experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Strong knowledge of computers and related software.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent service to members, guests and program participants.
• Promotes membership and programs and maintains cleanliness and organization of the membership desk area.
• Responds to member and guest needs, acts as liaison between the Y and members/guests, walking people to class.
• Engages with members throughout the facility and assists with the tour communication procedure.
• Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including safety and emergencies.
