Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Houston seeks a Relationship Associate to deliver a memorable Member experience by processing deposits, withdrawals, and servicing accounts and consumer loans.

You will open/close accounts, schedule appointments, cross-sell platform products, and resolve Member issues while upholding TDECU's mission and values. Saturday hours are required; strong interpersonal and numerical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional training is preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience is preferred. Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong interpersonal communication: courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
• Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate a ten-key calculator and keyboard by touch.
• Availability to work core hours including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Process basic and complex teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check orders, statement printing, stop payments, wire requests, and loan payments in lobby and drive-up.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts (savings, checking, CDs, specialty accounts) and complete loan applications.
• Cross-sell platform products (checking, savings, credit cards, loans, CDs) and refer to insurance/investments/mortgage.
• Own and resolve Member issues, provide world-class REAL Service, and assist with online/mobile banking guidance.
• Educate Members on digital solutions and assist with technology adoption.
• Support compliance and Bank Secrecy Act requirements; participate in community development activities.
