Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Member Specialist at the Gosling Member Center in Spring, TX. You will build and maintain member relationships, open accounts, process loans, and educate members on digital banking solutions to meet financial goals.

Role requires a consultative approach, attention to detail, and strong communication. Weekend/ Saturday hours may be required as part of core business hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional training in banking, loans or new accounts is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred. Previous experience in customer service is required. Previous experience in banking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Complete loan and new account applications, loan interviewing and funding.
• Cross-sell platform products such as checking and savings, credit cards, loans, CDs, Money Markets; refer to insurance, investments and mortgage.
• Provide world class REAL Service and resolve member inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Educate members on emerging banking technology and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
