Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to create a welcoming member experience and deliver superior customer service to members, prospective members and guests.

You will greet guests, handle front desk duties, answer phones, assist with sign-ups and tours, update member accounts, and address questions promptly. You will help keep the club clean and maintain a positive, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests with exceptional service.
• Manage front desk tasks including answering phones, check-ins and sign-ups.
• Show prospective members around the club and conduct tours.
• Update and facilitate member account changes as needed.
• Respond to member questions promptly and escalate when needed.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.
