Job summary

SECU in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Member Services Representative to assist members with account origination, maintenance, cash handling, and service inquiries across in-branch, phone, and digital channels. The role includes processing wires, Notary requests, foreign currency, and safe deposit box duties, while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

You will balance cash drawers, educate members on products, and collaborate with other departments to fulfill requests.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED; preferred Bachelor's or CCUE Certification.
Proven ability to meet people and develop member confidence and trust.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be self-motivated and dependable with good judgment.
Experience in branch operations and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
Greet and assist members courteously across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
Balance cash drawer and process transactions accurately.
Open and maintain accounts, including tax-advantaged accounts and wires as needed.
Assist with Notary, foreign currency, and safe deposit box services as requested.
