Job summary

SECU is seeking a member service representative to provide exemplary service across delivery channels in a fast‑paced credit union environment in Charlotte, NC. The role includes opening accounts, handling cash, educating members on services, and ensuring accuracy in daily transactions.

You will balance cash drawers, operate the drive‑thru, and support credit union activities with professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork. Training and ongoing development are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and confidentiality.
• Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Good communication and professionalism in all member interactions.
• Basic math skills and numerical accuracy in balancing ledgers.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Open new memberships and accounts; process changes.
• Educate members on services and make recommendations.
• Enter transactions in Margo and balance cash drawer.
• Balance vault, ATM, TCD, and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
