Job summary

YouFit Gyms in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a friendly Member Service Specialist to greet members and guests, manage check-ins, process transactions, and assist with memberships. You’ll help retain members, handle inquiries, and enforce gym policies in a fast-paced front-desk role.

The ideal candidate is 18+, fluent in English, with strong customer service skills, basic computer and cash-handling abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent reading, speaking, and writing in English; multilingualism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting members, guests, and prospects warmly to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage member check-ins by ensuring smooth entry, verifying account status, and addressing alerts.
• Answer phone calls and assist members with inquiries and directing calls as needed.
• Handle account management and billing, including updates, payments, and past-due balances.
• Support retention efforts by engaging with members considering cancellations and offering solutions.
• Process transactions and manage the cash drawer with retail purchases, guest passes, and payments; maintain cash-handling accuracy.
• Enforce gym policies and maintain a safe, respectful environment; uphold club rules.
• Perform opening and closing duties following procedures to prepare the facility for members.
• Assist with gym cleanliness and front desk organization as needed.
• Create an engaging gym experience by welcoming prospects, understanding fitness needs, and guiding them through membership options.
