Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking a Part-Time Member Experience Specialist to deliver outstanding service in a busy Miami gym. You’ll greet members, assist with check-ins, and guide guests through tours while promoting memberships.

This role emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere, accurate transactions at the front desk, and maintaining cleanliness. You’ll work flexible hours, support events, and help retain members through positive, solution‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English; multilingual alert is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with members, guests, and prospects.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle transactions and balance a cash drawer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Outstanding Member Service and follow the 10/5 Rule.
• Monitor Gym Access and ensure proper check-ins.
• Handle Member accounts in person and over the phone.
• Answer and Direct Calls to the appropriate person/department.
• Assist with Membership & Personal Training Retention and solutions.
• Perform Opening & Closing Duties.
• Process Payments & Balance CASH Drawer at the POS.
• Enforce Gym Policies and maintain standards.
• Maintain Gym Cleanliness and daily checklists.
• Report Safety, Facility, or Equipment concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of all gym areas including restrooms and locker rooms.
• Clean & Sanitize Fitness Equipment regularly.
• Empty Trash & Restock Supplies.
• Clean & Maintain Flooring and general facilities.
• Handle Emergency Cleaning Situations and spills promptly.
• Monitor Cleaning Supply Levels and request restocks.
• Ensure Proper Use of Cleaning Equipment & Chemicals.
• Deliver an Engaging Gym Experience and lead facility tours.
• Support Events and member appreciation activities.
