Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking a part-time Member Service Specialist to greet members, assist with check-ins, answer inquiries, and manage accounts at the Dania Beach location. You will support retention efforts, process transactions, and uphold gym policies in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes friendly member interactions, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance cash drawer while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service skills with positive member interactions.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in handling transactions and cash balances.
• Ability to enforce gym policies professionally and resolve member concerns.
• Basic computer skills for check-ins and account management.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and prospects to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage member check-ins, verify status and address alerts.
• Answer phones and assist members with information and guidance.
• Assist with account updates, payments and past-due balances.
• Support retention by addressing cancellations and offering solutions.
• Process transactions and manage cashier duties with accuracy.
• Enforce gym policies to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Perform opening/closing duties and prep the facility for members.
• Assist with front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Introduce prospects to membership options and guide decisions.
