Job summary

YouFit Gyms in Miami is seeking a Part-Time Member Experience Specialist to deliver outstanding service, greet members, assist with accounts, and promote memberships. You will manage check-ins, handle payments at the POS, maintain clean facilities, support events, tours, and daily opening/closing duties, while ensuring policies are followed and the member experience remains top-tier.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication in English; multilingual is a plus.
• Able to handle cash, process payments and balance cash drawer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Outstanding Member Service - Create a welcoming environment and greet members.
• Monitor Gym Access – ensure active accounts and proper check-ins.
• Handle Member accounts - assist with account questions and updates.
• Answer and Direct Calls – manage incoming calls and route inquiries.
• Assist with Membership & Personal Training Retention – engage with members to retain membership.
• Perform Opening & Closing Duties – follow procedures to open/close the gym.
• Process Payments & Manage Cash Drawer – handle POS transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Enforce Gym Policies & Maintain Standards – ensure policy adherence.
• Assist with Gym Cleanliness – maintain a clean facility and cleaning checklists.
• Report Safety, Facility, or Equipment Concerns – identify and report hazards to management.
• Maintain Cleanliness of All Gym Areas – restrooms, lockers, workout spaces, front desk areas.
• Clean & Sanitize Fitness Equipment – wipe down equipment.
• Empty Trash & Restock Supplies – manage waste and restock supplies.
• Clean & Maintain Flooring – sweep, mop, vacuum floors.
• Handle Emergency Cleaning Situations – respond to spills and messes.
• Monitor & Report Cleaning Supply Levels – track usage and restock.
• Ensure Proper Use of Cleaning Equipment & Chemicals – follow safety guidelines.
• Deliver an Engaging Gym Experience – guide prospects through tours and memberships.
