Job summary

truitycu is seeking a dedicated member services professional to build strong member relationships by delivering prompt, courteous service for deposit and lending needs.

You will originate and process consumer loans, assist with teller duties, advise on accounts, and help members navigate banking products, while adhering to credit union policies and compliance training. The role involves rotating between teller and member consultant duties, with emphasis on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Listen and respond to member inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
• Originate, evaluate, approve, process, and disburse consumer loans within authority.
• Assist members in teller and account-related tasks including balance checks and transfers.
• Open, close, and manage accounts while balancing service to member and risk to the credit union.
• Provide guidance on products and services to benefit the member.
• Complete compliance training and adhere to policies.
