Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Manchester, CT is seeking a proactive Member Experience Supervisor to lead Front End Leads, Cashiers, and Membership Sales Ambassadors, delivering a top-tier member experience and achieving club performance goals.

The role focuses on talent development, policy execution, and collaborative leadership across departments to maintain GOLD standards and drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving results.
• 2 years customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma, college degree and/or big box wholesale, retail and/or leadership experience is preferred.
• Open shift availability required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Frontline, Membership Services Desk, Membership Sales Ambassador functions to drive membership performance and service excellence.
• Develop and manage high-performing teams; provide coaching, feedback, motivation, and discipline.
• Ensure staffing and processes support excellent member service and execution.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures and ensure consistent application across teams.
• Execute corporate programs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Utilize reporting tools to drive performance and development.
• Drive membership growth, retention, and KPI achievement.
• Maintain regular attendance and support other departments as needed.
