Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking a Part Time Member Experience Specialist in Tallahassee to deliver top-tier service to members and guests. You will greet, assist, and guide visitors, handle check-ins, and promote memberships in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting events to boost member engagement, while upholding YouFit policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with members and guests.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member service by creating a welcoming environment and greeng the 10/5 rule.
• Monitor gym access, check-ins, and member alerts as they occur.
• Assist with member accounts, updates, and inquiries in person and by phone.
• Answer and direct calls, routing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
• Assist with membership retention and personal training inquiries to reduce churn.
• Perform opening and closing duties to ensure readiness for members.
• Process payments, balance cash drawer, and manage POS transactions.
• Enforce gym policies and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support with cleaning routines and restocking supplies as needed.
• Provide engaging gym tours to prospects and facilitate membership presentations.
• Assist with events and member appreciation activities.
