Job summary

UFC GYM is seeking a Front Desk Representative to be the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering excellent service while assisting with purchases and directing membership inquiries.

Responsibilities include greeting, phone handling, member check-ins, sign-ups, retail sales, and maintaining a professional front desk. A high school diploma and CPR/AED certification are required, with at least 6 months of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must stand and be on your feet for full shifts; ability to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and transfer to the correct department.
• Check in members and verify membership; sign up members for group fit or classes.
• Register prospective members and direct them to membership.
• Address members’ questions or direct them to appropriate staff for assistance.
• Sell supplements, apparel and other UFC GYM retail items; ring up purchases on the POS system.
• Maintain a professional image and behavior at all times.
• Respond to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff.
• Provide information to members regarding special club events.
• Report or escalate unsafe conditions or emergencies to management.
