Job summary

UFC Gym is seeking a Front Desk Representative in Chicago, IL. This role is the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering exceptional service while assisting with purchases and directing inquiries.

The position involves greeting, check-ins, selling retail items, and handling POS transactions in a fast-paced fitness club environment. The Front Desk Representative will maintain a professional image, support opening/closing procedures, and participate in monthly meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/AED certification required.
• 6 months’ customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service.
• Energetic, friendly, and positive attitude with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly as they enter and leave the club.
• Answer calls professionally and transfer to the right department.
• Check in members, verify memberships, and sign up for classes.
• Sell supplements, apparel and other UFC Gym retail items.
• Handle POS transactions and provide accurate change.
• Keep front desk neat and maintain professional image.
• Open/close front desk, attend meetings, assist with inventory and pricing.
• Follow safety procedures and report emergencies.
