Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director within the Transportation Business Group to lead pursuit and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects under design-build and P3 models.

You will drive project approvals, negotiate terms, and coordinate across HDR's matrix organization to maximize value and client satisfaction. The role requires 15+ years in engineering, a PE license, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, plus ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or closely related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible/licensed preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
Experience leading diverse teams on large transportation infrastructure projects.
Ability to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Drive project approvals in compliance with HDR policy and Risk Committee.
Coordinate with HDR Business Groups on policy, staff resources, and contract terms.
Work with HDR Legal to establish and negotiate contract terms for AD projects.
Foster relationships and HDR visibility in the AD market and with clients.
Report on Transportation Business Group AD status and progress.
