Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Alternative Delivery within the Transportation Business Group to lead large civil infrastructure projects, drive P3 and design-build strategies, and manage multi-disciplinary teams across HDR’s national network.

You will collaborate with HDR Legal, risk and client groups to secure approvals, shape contracts, and advance complex mobility programs, traveling up to 50% as needed. HDR offers employee-owned culture and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of related field experience; for leadership roles, 15+ years in major transportation projects.
• Professional engineering registration (PE) is required for leadership roles overseeing technical design.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy and risk committee inputs.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership and external partners on policy, staffing, contracts and terms.
• Negotiate contract terms with HDR Legal and other stakeholders to advance projects.
• Foster HDR matrix collaboration across Areas, Regions, and Business Groups; advise on commercial/technical trends.
