HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead major civil infrastructure projects and P3/Design-Build programs.

The role focuses on pursuing and delivering large transportation projects, negotiating terms, and coordinating with HDR leadership, clients, and partners to ensure successful outcomes. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in engineering for large transit/road projects, a PE license, and a deep understanding of HDR’s matrix

Competenze

• Minimum 15+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation projects.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery methods and design-build contracts.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage client relationships.
• Active professional registration (PE) required or equivalent.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Mansioni

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies, risk committee, and matrix authority.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership and external partners on contract terms and teaming.
• Negotiate contracts and design-service agreements with engineering/construction entities.
• Foster HDR visibility through industry organizations and active AD market engagement.
• Provide strategic and commercial guidance to HDR leadership on industry trends.
