Job summary

BD in USA NJ - Franklin Lakes seeks a field-based Medical Device Sales Representative to drive territory growth, educate surgeons and OR staff on BD's products, and meet sales goals.

Build relationships with current accounts, establish new ones, attend meetings and tradeshows, and provide on-site support during procedures. Requires 3+ years in medical sales, strong communication, travel willingness, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical or healthcare industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of sales strategies, contract administration, and group purchasing principles.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays, within your assigned territory.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
• Willingness to undergo regular drug screenings as per customer/medical facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attain sales goals established by the Company within the designated territory and budget.
• Grow sales of current accounts and establish new accounts.
• Position self as a product specialist and educate on BD products to surgeons, OR staff, and others.
• Provide on-site technical support during procedures to ensure accurate use of products.
• Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on the use of the products.
• Keep customers informed of product information, pricing, changes, and forecasts.
