Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based Sales Professional in the United States (New Jersey) to drive territory growth and build strong relationships with hospital systems and physicians.

You will provide on-site technical support, train staff on device usage, and pursue new accounts while meeting profit targets. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with at least 3 years of sales experience and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years general sales experience; medical sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Understanding of contracts and pricing; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel ~60%.

Responsibilities

• Attain sales goals within the designated territory and budget.
• Grow sales of current accounts and establish new accounts.
• Provide on-site technical support during procedures to ensure proper product use.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on product use.
• Meet territory sales and profitability targets.
• Develop new prospects and customers; manage bids and pricing considerations.
• Attend meetings and trade shows; communicate product updates and forecasts.
• Travel as required; maintain relationships with customers.
