BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues and coordinate ES 1.1x upgrade efforts. The role requires strong SQL skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Hybrid work from USA office locations with remote support, plus a limited-term assignment through June 2028. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401k under BD Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience including writing queries (SELECT/JOIN).
• Experience with SSIS, SQL Reporting Services, and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VMWare, IIS, DNS/DHCP, XML and Wireshark.

Responsabilités

• Provide CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with ES upgrade team to communicate and resolve issues.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in Salesforce.
