Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Baltimore, MD territory in MedTech Sales specialized for Orthopaedics. The role involves assisting surgeons in the operating room with product knowledge, demonstrating DePuy Synthes instruments, and ensuring proper equipment availability and deployment.

The position requires strong relationship-building, travel to customer sites, and the ability to work in lab/OR environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate or Medical Certification plus 2+ years of related experience, or 4+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel (weekends/overnight).
• Residence in or relocation to the posted territory.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and expanding existing customers and conversions with new customers.
• Help achieve sales goals and market share objectives in the territory.
• Apply knowledge of sales process, product portfolio and customer knowledge to improve outcomes.
• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical and product knowledge.
• Demonstrate and ensure proper use of DePuy Synthes products.
• Attend surgeries to support and optimize equipment usage.
• Provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation and support.
• Troubleshoot and handle customer requests; manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share customer/procedural/market insights with cross-functional teams to improve service levels.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain asset tracking and deployment.
